Fees , Terms and Conditions
- Claim Registration Fee:
- A registration fee of ₹250 (plus applicable GST) applies for a single claim only.
- Success Fee/Commission:
- For every successful claim settlement, we charge a commission of 1% of the settled amount or ₹750, whichever is lower (plus applicable GST). This payment must be made within 24 hours of receiving the claim settlement amount.
- Claim Authenticity:
- We exclusively process genuine motor insurance claims.
- Fraudulent Claims:
- We maintain a zero-tolerance policy and will never entertain fraudulent claims.
- Settlement Authority:
- The settlement of all insurance claims is at the sole discretion of the insurance company.
Terms and Conditions for HāVU Partner Workshops
- Claim Referrals:
- We refer claims exclusively to the best and nearest HāVU-associated workshops within our network.
- Scope of Claims:
- We deal strictly with motor Own Damage (OD) claims only.
- Excluded Claims:
- We do not deal with Personal Accident (PA), Third-Party (TP), or Motor Accident Claims Tribunal (MACT) claims.
- Settlement Responsibility:
- The settlement of all insurance claims is at the sole discretion of the insurance company. HāVU’s role is limited to providing support services, not final settlement decisions.
Required Documents and Conditions for Claim Settlement
- 1. Mandatory Original Documents:
- The following original documents must be submitted by the Registered Owner (RC owner) to process the insurance claim settlement:
- Registration Certificate (RC)
- Insurance Policy
- Aadhaar Card (or other valid identity proof)
- Driving License (DL)
- Bank Passbook (or cancelled cheque for NEFT/RTGS)
- Permit (if applicable to the vehicle type)
- Fitness Certificate (if applicable)
- General Diary (GD) Entry
- First Information Report (FIR) (if applicable)
- 2. Documentation Preparation Fee
- If HāVU personnel are required to prepare or assist in obtaining any documents, a service charge will apply:
- Fee Structure:
- The client will be charged the actual cost of the documents/fees incurred, plus a service fee of ₹250 per instance.
- 3. Ethical Conduct
- Zero-Tolerance for Fraud: HāVU maintains a strict policy and will never entertain any bribe, forgery, or fraudulent activity for any claim proceedings.
